|  | EVIC China started its activities in 2004 as a bridgehead in order to test the Chinese market and to know more about the feasibility of tests on local human beings.
Thanks to the excellent welcome received from the Central Authorities and from the local potential partners, basing also on the specific Chinese regulations it appeared more efficient to sign conventions with the Units whose studies are recognized by the Central Authority.
After a training period such conventions were signed with the Dermatological Units of the Hospitals of Beijing and Shanghai allowing us to monitor safety and efficacy studies on different categories of inhabitants covering most of the ethnic group living in China.

Our choice was based by priority on the training already acquired by the technicians of these units in the cosmetics field in relation to clinical as well as instrumental assessments. The second main reason was the facility to communicate.
The monitoring of the studies and scientific responsibility is assumed locally.
